How do I add a recipe?

The easiest way to add a recipe you find on the web, is to use the tool. Drag it to your toolbar, visit a site, click the icon, tweak what's captured, and submit. It's that simple! Or you can use our to enter recipes manually.

How do I get my recipes made?

The key to getting your recipes made, is to get as many people to "Crave It!" as possible. Use the "Share It!" tools to get the word out to your friends, family and followers across all the popular social networking sites. The more people "Crave It!", the more Makers will "Make It!". Referring a local Maker to join CookItFor.Us can also help. Whenever you're Craved recipes are getting made, you will receive an email notification, and be able to purchase your portions.

How do I purchase food?

Check the "What's Cooking?" section of the homepage to see what Makers are making in your local community. Click "Crave It!" and you will be taken to a Recipe Page, that shows you all the Makers planning to make that item. Select the "Buy It!" or "Reserve It!" button on the PayPal bar, and you'll be led through the purchase system.

When will I be charged?

Once you choose a Maker, you will see if they have met their minimum quantity for fulfilling the order. If they have, your order will be available on the date the Crave is scheduled to be completed. If the minimum is not met by scheduled Crave date of, the item is not made and you are not charged.

If a recipe has already met it's minimum, you are charged immediately.

If the Crave still has not hit it's minimum, you are put through an authorization that doesn't remove funds from your PayPal account, but will allow us to charge the account automatically if the maker meets their minimum. You will be charged when the first Craver hits the minimum quantity for the Crave to be made. If no minimum is met, the authorization expires and no charge is made to your account.

How can I become a Maker?

The process begins by completing a . Part of the Makers Profile requires that you confirm that you will follow all Local, State, and Federal laws relating to the production, distribution and sale of food items. After completing and submitting the form, you can start bidding on bringing Craves to life!
